  • What time is check-in?

    4:00PM

  • What time is check-out?

    Noon.

  • Can I check out late?

    We try to accommodate late check out requests when we can – late check out availability is dependent on the number of check ins we have scheduled for that day. To request a late check out, call or stop by the front desk on the evening before your departure or in the morning on the date you are scheduled to depart. We’ll do our best!

  • How do I get around the city?

    Don’t worry, we can help getting you from A to B! Please check out our Transportation page for more information or stop by the front desk.

  • Is there valet parking?

    Yes, valet parking is priced at $62 per day with unlimited in and out privileges.

  • Where can I work out?

    Our fitness center is located on the second floor of the west wing and is open 24 hours a day. Check out our Well + Fit program as well!

  • Where can I print my boarding pass?

    The front desk could assist you with any printing needs.

  • Is there an amenities fee?

    Yes, the daily guest amenities fee is $29 plus tax.

  • Are pets welcome?

    Yes, we will happily greet your furry companion with a pet bed, bowls, toy, tasty treat, and a list of local pet resources. Click here to learn more. A $65 pet fee applies.

  • Is there a way to do laundry?

    We don’t have self-service laundry facilities, but we do offer a same-day dry cleaning and laundry service that is available Monday-Friday. You’ll find laundry bags and forms in your closet. Drop your laundry at the front desk by 8 a.m. and you’ll have it back by 6 p.m.

  • How can I make calls?

    Local and toll-free number calls are included with your stay. Long distance fees vary.

  • There is so much to do in Portland, where should I start?

    Stop by the front desk and let us help you map out your visit! We also have a Portland Travel Guide for exploring nearby attractions as well as our Portland Directory for discovering things to do around Portland during your stay.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    We offer a variety of cancellation policies dependent on the rate offers booked.

    Our Flexible Rate allows you to change or cancel your reservation up to noon (12pm) on the day of your arrival. Changing the date on any reservations through our Flexible Rate may result in different pricing, but there is no fee for making changes.

    Please refer to each rate’s booking policies upon the reservation checkout screen.

  • Anything else?

    Wi-Fi is always available at Sentinel. We also offer Smith Teamaker assorted teas as well as coffee in the morning with water and assorted fruit during the afternoon in the lobby (all included with your stay). Check out our Food and Drink page to learn more about grabbing a bite at Jake’s Grill, a cocktail at Fortune, or wine tasting at Domaine Serene, all located on the main floor of the hotel.
